Health and Fitness Centre

Cheltenham Ladies’ College

The priority for Cheltenham Ladies’ College is the health and wellbeing of their students. The existing indoor sports facilities had insufficient capacity to meet current and projected future requirements for competitive, recreational or curriculum sports activities. A further pressure on space came when exams needed to be accommodated, as this frequently displaced sporting activities for periods throughout the year. The project included the refurbishment of the existing building and the design of a new steel framed health and leisure centre supporting flexible use for sporting activities, educational requirements as well as it being a destination for community users. Our foundation and drainage strategy made some significant cost savings.

“Integral Engineering worked on our multi million pound sports centre, their professionalism was unquestionable. We have found them proactive, responsive and easy to work with.”

Mr Ian D Minchella, Estates Manager, Cheltenham Ladies’ College

“Grant and the team were proactive in ensuring high quality information was provided on time. They showed a good understanding of the construction challenges and worked collaboratively with us to successfully deliver the project”

Andy Bolas, General Works Manager, Kier Construction
