Maria Pepper

MEng (Hons)

Maria is a structural engineer working on a variety of projects ranging from Grade I historic conservation engineering of castles to new build schools, hotels, sport facilities and more. As a project engineer, Maria carries out structural analysis and design as well as managing the structural engineering input and being a first point of contact for the design team.

Graduating from the University of Bath with a first class degree in 2012, Maria was awarded the Hoare Lea Prize for excellence in Environmental Engineering. Her current goal is to achieve her professional qualification with the Institution of Structural Engineers. A committee member for the regional Young Members’ IStructE group – The Tuesday Group – Maria manages their social media and helps with organising events.

Maria enjoys cycling and running, and every so often she goes a bit crazy and adds in swimming to the mix for the odd triathlon – any excuse for her to be out in the beautiful countryside.
