Engineer

Maria is a capable engineer with a passion for the built environment. From Estonia, Maria chose to study Architectural Engineering at the University of Leeds and spent a year abroad in Philadelphia as part of her studies. The unique course gave her knowledge of building design as a whole and appreciation for design team collaboration. Graduating in 2019 she began her career working as a graduate engineer on defence infrastructure projects and structural appraisals of existing buildings.

Joining Integral in May 2022, she is excited to work on a wide range of technically challenging projects from retrofitting historic buildings to new builds and progress towards chartership with the ICE. Maria is very interested in sustainable design and is keen to ensure the projects she works on have the best possible impact on society and the environment.

Outside work Maria enjoys hiking, weekend trips to discover new places and extending her excessive house plant collection.
