Associate

Amanda is involved in the design and management on a diverse range of projects, including new build, adaptive reuse and conservation. As an Associate Engineer she takes the engagement and technical lead on projects working from our London office.

With a strong interest in low carbon design, retrofit and conservation she is currently working towards her CARE accreditation. Her passion is to breathe new life into old structures – renovating or repurposing buildings designed in a different era for modern practical use. Amanda is a member of the IStructE Structural Engineers Declare task group and takes a lead role in driving our internal reuse group.

Amanda enjoys working in a team as a partner in design, rather than a necessity. Her aim is to understand a building, its purpose and context – whether new or existing and to be able to contribute far more to the design than just the nuts and bolts.

Away from the office she enjoys hiking and cycling long distances with friends.
