Integral Engineering Design Ride to Ronald’s

Seven enthusiastic cyclists from Integral Engineering Design are undertaking a 146 mile (235km) bike ride fundraising to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Taking place 29-30 September 2023, the route starts at Evelina London House and finishes at Bristol House.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK help reduce emotional and financial burden by providing free ‘home away from home’ accommodation and support for families with children in hospital. Specialised children’s services aren’t provided in every hospital and families can find themselves having to travel long distances so their sick child can receive the best treatment. They run 14 Ronald McDonald Houses across the UK at their partnered NHS hospitals and since 1989 more than 60,000 families have benefitted.

Staff at Integral nominated RMHC as one of their chosen charities this year as one of our colleagues has seen the difference the Ronald McDonald Houses make to families. “My close friends stayed at a Ronald McDonald House when their daughter was born and needed surgeries soon after; having support and being able to stay close really helped them through a difficult time”.
