What has CMAP done for us?
7 September 2017
In 2015 after an extensive selection process Integral implemented a project management system called CMAP.
This was to encompass time, expense and supplier cost recording, sales invoicing, project cost, income forecasting and analysis, contacts and financial reporting.
The key criteria was to provide a user friendly system that would offer the following key benefits; project transparency and organisational resilience, easy integration with finance systems, accurate income forecasting, integration across offices and accessibility from the web, dynamic up to date management information and assist the company to move to a more controlled project management culture.
So after 18 months of use has it delivered on its promises?
All users have seen a positive impact in their day to day work and a reduction in the amount of time spent on non-productive activities. This has freed up resources to allocate more time for core competencies and work they enjoy. The main impact for the business is the improvement in decision making due to the fact that the managers are now dealing with information and not simply data. It is not perfect, but is constantly evolving and has proven to be a great tool for the business to facilitate growth.
